Serving tips

  • Serving gluten-free: choose gluten-free tortilla chips or rice crackers.
  • As a topping: delicious on tacos, burritos or a bowl.
  • As a salad booster: a spoonful of guacamole on a green salad adds instant flavour.
  • Vegan and lactose-free: this recipe is naturally completely plant-based.
  • Delicious with tortilla chips or rice crackers, tacos, burritos or rice bowls, or with grilled meat or fish as a fresh side dip.

About this recipe

Make this dip just before serving; guacamole tastes best fresh. A thin layer of lime juice on top helps if you want to keep it for a little while.

Lovely with the Mexican oven-baked rice and the sweet potato salad with beans.
